About My Story
Hello. I don’t have much time to hold your attention do I? You still there? Well, that’s really cool. Hang with me a few more seconds then.
My name is Charles. Having a camera in my hands is what I was meant to do. I honestly can’t remember my first camera, but I remember the one that made me feel BIG TIME. It was the Kodak 110. I see I can still get one on EBay. It’s described as “vintage”.
I guess “vintage” is the right word. This was back in the 70’s. What did I take pictures of? Remember, had to be frugal because you had to send that film away to get developed, and it wasn’t local either. I grew up on the Apache Reservation in Arizona and I’m guessing the film was shipped to Phoenix. It took at least a week to get those photos back. Some were under exposed, out of focus, too bright….but then some…some…were perfect.
You know what? ALL of them have so much meaning and value now. Of course so many people in those captures are no longer with us…that’s probably the obvious reason why they are so precious, but there’s something else. Aaron Siskind said it perfectly when he said photography “Remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
Thank you for coming to my site. Your time is valuable. Speaking of time…each day, hour, minute and second…once is gone it’s history. You can’t get it back can you? You know what you can do? You know what we together can do?
We can freeze time with images that will last you a lifetime, and when you look at your images in the future….it will remember for you, things you might have forgotten.
Contact me and let’s continue our relationship!
The best to you!!
Charles
